Weekend in Barcelona

Weekend in Barcelona

After ten years, I finally found myself back in Barcelona! Spain was the first European country I ever visited and now that I’m a bit more well-traveled, I have a newfound appreciation for the city. For one, it’s home to the works of my favorite architect, Antoni Gaudí! And if that’s not enough of a reason to visit, the delicious tapas sure are. Here’s a quick guide to having the perfect weekend in Barcelona!

Weekend in Kraków

Weekend in Kraków

One word: Pierogi. I tried pierogi for the first time in Kraków and was quickly obsessed with the filled dumplings. Food was the highlight of my visit! There was even a fair with food vendors right by Main Square. While I wasn’t too impressed with the attractions, I did enjoy exploring Kraków Old Town and seeing architecture from different centuries in one spot. I would absolutely visit Kraków again if I’m in the area.

Back in Paris for 3 Days

Back in Paris for 3 Days

Paris is one of my favorite cities in Europe and I couldn’t be happier to be back! It’s one of the few European cities where I actually enjoy all their attractions, from monuments to parks to cathedrals. I even enjoy the art museums! My boyfriend and I planned for 3.5 days in Paris and it was just not enough time to do everything on our list. I wish we had more time to simply wander the streets of Paris and take in the beautiful city. Needless to say, I’m already counting down the days until my next visit.

Guide to Versailles

Guide to Versailles

Palace of Versailles has been on my travel bucket list ever since my AP European History class. I read about the grandeur of the Hall of Mirrors and I couldn’t wait to see it in person. So when a Paris trip came up, I knew I wanted to visit Versailles. With plane tickets booked, I went into research mode but found the official website to be incredibly confusing. It took me a long time to even figure out what the difference was between Musical Gardens and Musical Fountains Show. To save you from the same research, I created this guide to hopefully answer questions you’ll have when planning your own trip to Louis XIV’s beautiful creation.

3 Days in Banff National Park

3 Days in Banff National Park

After seeing instagram photos of Banff by friends and bloggers, I was determined to visit Banff National Park and witness the winter wonderland in person. I chose to visit in March to have the winter experience without freezing my toes off. On the drive into the park, I was like a child pressed up against the car window. I couldn’t get enough of the snowcapped mountains and towering evergreen trees along the route. What made me really fall in love with Banff was the frozen falls at Johnston Canyon. I loved visiting in winter but I can’t wait to visit again in the summer to get a different side of this experience.

Weekend in Edinburgh

Weekend in Edinburgh

Edinburgh is every architecture lovers’ dream! There are so many buildings, monuments, and castles to marvel at as you wander the city by foot. The panoramic views of the city from Calton Hill will leave you speechless. And the history of Old Town Edinburgh caught my attention, especially the myths surrounding Mary King’s Close. Plus, there’s plenty of shopping to be done – really, what more do you want from a city! I can’t wait to come back to Edinburgh one day because a weekend is not enough!

Stonehenge Tour with Premium Tours Overview

Stonehenge Tour with Premium Tours Overview

Stonehenge has been on my to-visit list since my last trip to England so when my friend and I were visiting London, we decided to take a day trip. Since Stonehenge is almost 2 hours away from London and we don’t know how to drive on the other side of the road, we chose to go with a tour. My friend selected the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath tour with Premium Tours.

Best of Metro Manila

Best of Metro Manila

I recently spent two weeks in Manila for work. I had to work US hours (10pm-6am in Manila) which means I got very little sleep but was able to explore the surrounding areas during the day with my boyfriend (who tagged along to keep me company). If you’re headed to Metro Manila yourself, here are some of my favorite things to eat and do from those two weeks!
